Questions People Always Ask

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No tie-in, no penalties. If you want to cancel, just let me know. I'd rather you stayed because the plan's worth it — not because you're locked in.

What's actually included?

Depends on which plan you pick. Every plan includes an annual boiler service (included from year two), gas safety check, health report, free CO alarm, and direct WhatsApp to me. The higher plans add priority booking, repair discounts, and — on House Call — parts and labour included. Sign up while I'm servicing your boiler and get 30% off that first service.

What if my boiler is old?

If your boiler is under 15 years old and it's a mainstream brand (Worcester, Ideal, Vaillant, or Baxi), you can sign up to any plan. If it's over 15 years old or a less common brand, The Checkup is the best starting point — I'll service it, check its condition, and we can talk about upgrading your plan from there.

Is this insurance?

No. This is a private service agreement between you and me. It's not regulated by the FCA. Think of it as paying monthly for your engineer to look after your boiler — like a retainer.

What about parts and labour?

On the House Call plan, parts and labour are covered up to £250 per year. On the other plans, you get discounted repairs. Either way, you'll always know the cost before I start any work.

Do I get a free service when I sign up?

Your first service is booked and paid for separately — but if you sign up to a care plan on the day, you'll get 30% off. From your second year onwards, your annual service is included in your plan at no extra cost.

Are there any boilers you don't cover?

The Checkup is available for all boilers. For On Call and House Call, your boiler needs to be under 15 years old and a mainstream brand — Worcester, Ideal, Vaillant, or Baxi. If yours doesn't qualify, start with The Checkup and we'll go from there.

Can I sign up my parents' house too?

Absolutely. Nearly 1 in 5 of our calls are from people looking after elderly parents. A care plan for their property means you know their boiler's being looked after — even when you can't be there.
